About Julianne
As a child, I was always in motion and liked to create things: dances, stories, languages. As I got older, I studied fine art, acting, photography, and writing. Eventually I turned to writing as my main creative focus.
I teach college writing, which is creative and allows me to share what I’ve learned. Plus, I love my students’ energy and enthusiasm.
My desire to become a coach evolved out of my life experiences, teaching work, and a strong background in spirituality, creativity, and human potential.
As a Professional Certified Coach, I help people gain greater focus, use their creativity, and do use their strengths and talents to do meaningful work.
I’ve also always been a spiritual seeker, and have studied some of the world’s great traditions. I have practiced meditation for over 30 years.
To this day, I have never abandoned the two paths I walked as a child, the spiritual and the creative. In my understanding, they are of the same essence, Both allow us to touch something that feels ephemeral yet very real. I call it a creative spirit. Since we are part of the natural world, our creativity is not separate from the creative powers of the universe. We all partake of one creative principle.
The creative life is about uncovering what we already are and using what is ours by birth to bring forth what wants to emerge.
