It’s spring and flowers are beginning to bloom. Yet many may be feeling anxious looking at the world around us, where there are conflicts in many places. Still, you want to move forward in your life and do what is meaningful for you.
Even when things look bleak, when you don’t see how what you want to do can be possible, there are unseen forces that can come to your aid when you take the first step. Believe in yourself, cultivate an awareness of both the outer world and the inner world of thoughts, sensations, and feeling. And as a result, recognize that you are a part of this whole universe in which you live.
An example of someone who overcame many obstacles to create something of lasting value is a woman named Eileen Caddy, one of the founders of the Findhorn Foundation at the Findhorn Ecovillage near the village of Findhorn, Moray Firth, in northeast Scotland.
Today Findhorn has more than 400 residents and, as an internationally recognized spiritual learning center holds conferences all year round.
But when Eileen arrived with her husband, Peter Caddy, and their friend Dorothy Maclean in 1962, Findhorn was little more than a piece of barren, windswept land.
Eventually, however, these three were able, they say, to communicate with nature spirits, beings they called devas. By listening to these messages and by following their own intuitive guidance they were able to grow plants, flowers, trees and organic vegetables of enormous sizes. Others couldn’t understand how this was possible, but it’s all been documented. You can read about it here:
There is always a way, but that way needs you to show itself. It needs your belief and commitment.
“Have no fear of moving into the unknown.”
“Seek always for the answer within. Be not influenced by those around you, by their thoughts or their words.” –Eileen Caddy
